Koran 17:56-57

17:56 Say, “Invoke those you have claimed [as gods] besides Him, for they do not possess the [ability for] removal of adversity from you or [for its] transfer [to someone else].”

57 Those whom they invoke seek means of access to their Lord, [striving as to] which of them would be nearest, and they hope for His mercy and fear His punishment.

Indeed, the punishment of your Lord is ever feared.

Koran 17:56-57

Muhammad Allah commands Muhammad to: “Say” or “Recite”. This means that this passage is addressed to Muhammad, not to all people. Thus, this passage can’t be in the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. As it is addressed to Muhammad, in his time and place, his context, this also means that this passage is locked to Muhammad’s context and can’t be in the context-free, perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah with all its perfect words. Thus, this passage is part of Muhammad’s recitation, Muhammad’s Koran, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are incoherent and false, meaning Allah is incoherent, imaginary, fictional, and false.

Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.

Muhammad, in his Koran, addresses a sentence, verse, or passage to “Anonymous They”, with “they”, “them”, “he”, “your”, “the people”, and so on, without naming them. For more, read Anonymous They.

The scholars in Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 17:56, attempt to make clearer the already perfectly clear and perfect words of Allah (“say”) and Muhammad (the rest) with:

The people of Shirk used to say, “we worship the angels and the Messiah and Uzayr,” while these (the angels and the Messiah and `Uzayr) themselves call upon Allah.

Some of the Jinn used to be worshipped, then they became Muslims.

Some humans used to worship some of the Jinn, then those Jinn became Muslim, but those humans adhered to their religion (of worshipping the Jinn).

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 17:56

Let’s deal with the Jinn being worshipped, the creatures of Fire, created by Allah to do, what? Obviously, they received no messenger from their own people, the Jinn. According to Muhammad himself, some Jinn overheard part of the Koran and so became Muslims. The scholars above are merely restating that story from Muhammad. So, if Jinn were being worshipped, isn’t this ultimately the fault of Allah? After all, Allah created the Jinn, why would they let people worship them? You know apart from their reputed magic powers of GRANTING WISHES, which we get from stories. Where do we get that from? The story of Solomon in the Koran, recited by Muhammad, you know, the stories of ancients, legends, which the Quraysh didn’t believe in, but evidently Muhammad did.

Your wish, Master?
Imprisoned for eternity,…

Of course, Jinn and Jeanie are imaginary. They aren’t gods or anything, but merely spirits of Place:

Whirlwind – Dust Devil – The Origin of Jinn.

The spirits of Place, like Jinn, were “created” by the ancestors of the Quraysh, to explain whirlwinds, which seemed to defend lands from intrusion by humans.

And did the Quraysh worship a Jinn or the Jinn? Probably not, they worshipped idols of gods that their ancestors passed down the habit of doing, like Muhammad himself did, early in life, like his nominal father, the “slave of Allah” did. Muhammad continued to sacrifice to idols throughout his life, but mainly he preferred Allah’s idol, then later, the black stone. Perhaps the Quraysh propitiated the Jinn, leaving them “gifts”, which is hardly worship.

As for the “Uzayr”, this could be a mangled reference to the nonsense of Koran 9:30:

The Jews say, “Ezra is the son of Allah”; and the Christians say, “The Messiah is the son of Allah.” That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved [before them]. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?

Koran 9:30

I’ve refuted this nonsense earlier. For more, see Koran 9:30-31.

But, let’s deal with the central thrust of Muhammad’s argument here:

Invoke those you have claimed [as gods] besides Him,

for they do not possess the [ability for] removal of adversity from you or [for its] transfer [to someone else].

Muhammad’s Say, Koran 17:56

I’m an agnostic atheist, so I can’t do this, as I have no knowledge of how to do this. Also, I don’t claim any gods, not even Allah.

Allah, the dead, broken, stone idol, in Mecca, Petra, Jordan.

The Quraysh invoked Allah and their other gods, and none had any effect:

Before the idolators (Quraysh) left Makkah for Badr, they clung to the curtains covering the Kaaba and supplicated to Allah for victory, “O Allah! Give victory to the exalted among the two armies, the most honored among the two groups, and the most righteous among the two tribes.”

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 8:19

Allah didn’t remove or transfer any adversity from the Quraysh, thus by Muhammad’s standard, Allah is false.

As for the Jews, they worship YHWH, not Allah. You know, that’s the god that Muhammad tries to glue Allah to. And of course, Allah is NOT YHWH.

As for the Christians, they worship YHWH, who is GOD. You know, that’s the god that Muhammad tries to glue Allah to. And of course, Allah is NOT GOD.

But, Infidel, you Christians worship Jesus! Yes, they do, but Jesus, the SON of GOD is part of the trinity of GOD. For more, see: Christian Trinity in Koran and Abraham and the Trinity. Jesus is not an “associate” or “other god”. And of course, Allah is NOT GOD.

But, Infidel, you haven’t got the Jews and Christians to invoke YHWH/GOD?! Well, if they can, then this shows Allah is false. And if they can’t, this also shows Allah is false, as they invoke not Allah, but YHWH/GOD.

But, but, Infidel, INVOKE GOD! I’m an agnostic atheist, remember? How do I do this?

Did that work? I can’t tell.

But, let’s test Muhammad. Muhammad, can you invoke Allah to remove adversity from you or transfer adversity to someone else? Oh wait, Muhammad is dead. Muhammad had no signs from Allah at all. Islam has no miracles. We know this because the Quraysh knew this and mocked Muhammad for his lack of signs. The Quraysh and the Jews knew Muhammad was a false prophet, and told everyone that Muhammad was NOT worthy of Allah:

When Allah sent Muhammad as a Messenger, most of the Arabs denied him and his message and said: “Allah is greater than sending a human Messenger like Muhammad.”

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 10:1

And as Muhammad could not produce a sign from Allah, we know that Muhammad was a false prophet. Plus, this is confirmed by his own denial of being a prophet, in the Koran:

So remind, [O Muhammad]; you are only a reminder.

Koran 88:21

Also, Muhammad tried to dodge these questions of proof, by claiming it must be obvious that Allah is all that’s needed for creation, and by claiming his verses are his signs from Allah. Of course, these all fail because so far all these verses in Koran, come from Muhammad and his friends, and worse, the Koran is assembled wrongly, and wasn’t intended to be written:

So woe to those who write the “scripture” with their own hands, then say, “This is from Allah,” in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn.

Koran 2:79

This Koran 2:79 condemns Muslims for claiming to WRITE “scripture” the Koran with their own hands and say: “This [Koran] is from Allah”. The curse is: “Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn.”

But, Infidel, this CURSE applies to YOU too! No, it doesn’t, because I’m very careful to point out that the Koran, Muhammad’s recitation, comes from Muhammad (and friends), and is assembled by Muslims in the wrong order. Thus, I never say or write “This [Koran] is from Allah”. And if I do, this is by mistake and needs to be corrected ASAP. Please let me know if I’ve made this mistake or any other mistake and let me know so I can correct it. Again, this Koran is from Muhammad and friends, not from a real god.

But, Infidel, if there’s a CURSE, what should we do? I suggest leaving Islam, by admitting publicly that Muhammad is false, Islam is false, Allah is false and Koran is false. If you want to worship a god, I suggest becoming a Christian, as it’s easy to do, and has positive benefits.

But, but, Infidel, who POWERS this CURSE?! Well, I don’t know, I’m an agnostic atheist, remember? Perhaps it’s GOD that powers it? Or maybe it’s self-inflicted by Muslims as they realise that the Koran, Allah, Islam and Muhammad are false? Curses often have a way of back-firing upon the curser.

So, from the example of Muhammad’s own life, Allah couldn’t remove adversity from Muhammad and couldn’t transfer it to someone else. Thus, Muhammad’s Allah fails Muhammad’s test, which means Allah is false, Muhammad is false, the Koran is false, and Islam is false, and Islam ends.

The best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
