Koran 17:42-43

17:42 Say, [O Muhammad], “If there had been with Him [other] gods, as they say, then they [each] would have sought to the Owner of the Throne a way.”

43 Exalted is He and high above what they say by great sublimity.

Koran 17:42-43

Muhammad Allah commands Muhammad to: “Say” or “Recite”. This means that this passage is addressed to Muhammad, not to all people. Thus, this passage can’t be in the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. As it is addressed to Muhammad, in his time and place, his context, this also means that this passage is locked to Muhammad’s context and can’t be in the context-free, perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah with all its perfect words. Thus, this passage is part of Muhammad’s recitation, Muhammad’s Koran, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are incoherent and false, meaning Allah is incoherent, imaginary, fictional, and false.

Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.

Notice how the translator changes this passage to be addressed to Muhammad by adding: “[O Muhammad],” to the text. The translators are using Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 17:42, to inform their choice of words, with:

Allah says: “Say, O Muhammad, to these idolators who claim that Allah has a partner among His creation…”

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 17:42

This means that this passage is locked to the previous verse and to Muhammad’s time and place, his context, where the “disbelievers” are his Quraysh tribe, where he was shunned and exiled. Thus, showing Allah is local and so false, which means Islam is local and false, which means Muhammad is, (guess what?) local and false and dead.

Let’s deal with “Allah’s” or rather Muhammad’s, argument against the Quraysh:

If there had been with Him [other] gods, as they say, then they [each] would have sought to the Owner of the Throne a way.

Muhammad as Allah, Koran 17:42

The Throne

Throne – owner to be decided

Let’s pretend that “the Owner of the Throne” is simply a title telling us who is the top god, and not a separate divine being that looks like a throne and that the goats that bear the throne, being goats, aren’t interested in sitting upon it.

Goat herd, bearers of the throne, peaceful grazers of grass

Iblis AKA Satan

Adam and the Angels watched by Iblis

Recall that Iblis shows his power is greater than Allah in the stories of Adam (and Eve), and doesn’t seek to BE “the Owner of the Throne”. Instead, he rules in his home, Fire.

The Daughters of Al Lah

Al Uzza, Al Lat, Manat and Lion, their defender

Then let’s recall that the Quraysh believed in an extra three goddesses, Al Lat, Al Uzza and Manat, the DAUGHTERS of Allah. Obviously, in the Quraysh polytheism, the daughters are subordinate to their father Al Lah, and so do not seek to BE “the Owner of the Throne”. This is pointed out by Muhammad, in his recitation, of his Koran, just before the Satanic verses:

53:19 So have you considered al-Lat and al-‘Uzza? 20 And Manat, the third – the other one?

Koran 53:19-20

But, Infidel, those “daughters” are IDOLS! Indeed, and so too is their father, Al Lah, as I’ll show shortly.

The Sun Goddess

Ackbar, the Sun goddess, wife of Al Lah

And of course, there’s the Sun goddess, Ackbar:

The Prophet asked me at sunset, “Do you know where the sun goes (at the time of sunset)?”

I replied, “Allah and His Apostle know better.”

He said, “It goes (i.e. travels) till it prostrates Itself underneath the Throne and takes the permission to rise again, and it is permitted…”

And that is the interpretation of the Statement of Allah: “And the sun Runs its fixed course For a term (decreed). …”

Sahih al-Bukhari 3199

The last phrase refers to Muhammad’s recitation, Muhammad’s Koran, by content (in Arabic):

And the sun runs [on course] toward its stopping point. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.

Koran 36:38

Thus, the Sun is presumed by Muhammad to be a goddess, female, the wife of Al Lah, male, MOON, the MOON god, and subordinate, female to male, wife to husband. We know the Sun and the Moon exist. Their divine counterparts, Ackbar and Al Lah, do not exist. These gods are imaginary, as Muhammad assigns the Sun as the Moon’s subordinate partner, when we know that physically, the Moon is subordinate to Earth, being Earth’s Moon, and both Earth and Moon are subordinate, not to Allah (Moon god), but to the Sun.

Earthrise – Earth from Moon
Sun with the rocky planets Mercury, Venus, Earth with Moon and Mars; Asteroids and dwarf planet Ceres; gas giants Jupiter and Saturn; ice giants Neptune and Uranus; dwarf planets Pluto, Haumea, Makemake and Eris; comets Halley’s Comet.

Thus, the Solar System, which is real, contradicts Allah and Muhammad, so they are false, making Allah imaginary.

Gods of Place

There are other gods in Islam, who also do not seek to be on the throne.

The Heavens

The Heavens, which is still smoke, the Milky Way Galaxy, edge on

The Earth

The Earth, dry desert sand dunes

The Mountains

The Mountains, rock, slowly eroding

Indeed, We offered the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, and they declined to bear it and feared it;…

Koran 33:72

Note especially the “We” here, showing it’s Muhammad and “Allah”. Compare with “He” as Allah, who is not “We”, the demon:

Then He directed Himself to the heaven while it was smoke and said to it and to the earth, “Come [into being], willingly or by compulsion.”

They said, “We have come willingly.”

Koran 41:11

The Heavens, Earth and Mountains are male, gods of place, who cannot sit on a throne and obviously do not care to rule on the throne.

The Angels

Angels in Islamic Fire doing nothing
The angels on our shoulders, with the one on our head.

The angels are creations of light by Allah, and, being creations, are “designed” to worship Allah or do other jobs, with no apparent effect. As such, they do not compete with Allah, being subordinate to his will.

The Jinn

Whirlwind – Dust Devil – The Origin of Jinn

The Jinn are created from FIRE, like Iblis and their home is not Earth or Heaven, but Islamic FIRE. Even in Muhammad’s Koran, Muhammad claims that the Jinn overheard his Koran and became Muslim, so showing they chose to obey Allah (or not). In either case, they do not compete for the throne, just like Iblis.

Refutation of Muhammad’s Argument

The refutation of Muhammad’s argument is that the “competitors” to the throne are cooperating with Allah, not competing, and either are subordinate to (daughters) or are choosing to be subordinate (Iblis – for now), or can’t be on the throne (non-competitors and creations of light or fire).

This shows that Muhammad was not interested in cooperation, but was interested in hierarchy, bossing people around, and not cooperating with them. Islam is a supremacist cult, which is for Muhammad, not for Muslims. Muhammad wanted to rule, like Allah.

Alternative Theologies

In Judaism and Christianity, God/YHWH is one. There are no competitors for the throne as it were.

God on throne

But, Infidel, the Christians worship the man Jesus! This refers to the three persons of the Trinity:

Jesus with his Father, on the throne with the holy Spirit between

In Christianity and Judaism, God is not the Moon and not the Sun. Thus, God is NOT Allah and certainly not Ackbar. In both religions, God is omniscient and omnipotent and omnipresent, and in Christianity, God the Father is in Heaven with Jesus as mediator and the holy Spirit is the comforter (not Muhammad). The theology of Christianity and Judaism are vastly better than Muhammad and his ad hoc creation, Islam.

The best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
