Koran 16:56-60

16:56 And they assign to what they do not know a portion of that which We have provided them.

By Allah, you will surely be questioned about what you used to invent.

57 And they attribute to Allah daughters – exalted is He – and for them is what they desire.

58 And when one of them is informed of [the birth of] a female, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief.

59 He hides himself from the people because of the ill of which he has been informed.

Should he keep it in humiliation or bury it in the ground?

Unquestionably, evil is what they decide.

60 For those who do not believe in the Hereafter is the description of evil; and for Allah is the highest attribute.

And He is Exalted in Might, the Wise.

Koran 16:56-60

Muhammad, in his Koran, addresses a sentence, verse, or passage to “Anonymous They”, with “they”, “them”, “he”, “your”, “the people”, and so on, without naming them. For more, read Anonymous They.

Muhammad commits shirk with: “We”, “Us” or “Our”, placing Allah as a companion to himself, showing that Allah is incoherent, imaginary, and fictional, and so Islam is incoherent with monotheism, thus Islam is contradictory and false.

Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 16:56, makes clear who the anonymous “they” are with:

Allah tells us about some of the heinous deeds of those who used to perform baseless worship of other gods besides Him, such as idols and statues, with no grounds for doing so. They gave their idols a share of that which Allah had provided for them,

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 16:56

Note that these people already worship Allah, and so the “they” are the Quraysh, Muhammad’s tribe he was exiled from, because of his bad behaviour. The names of the daughters that are part of the Allah pantheon of the Quraysh come from the verses before the Satanic Verses, and Muhammad names the three daughters of Allah:

53:19 So have you considered al-Lat and al-‘Uzza? 20 And Manat, the third – the other one?

Satan tempted Muhammad to utter the following line:
These are the exalted gharāniq, whose intercession is hoped for.

Koran 53:19-20
Al Lat, Al Uzza, Lion, Allah (Al Lah, Hubaal, Baal and Sin) and Manat, with Ackbar, the Sun goddess in the background arch

Muhammad shows his stupidity here:

And they assign to what they do not know a portion of that which We have provided them.

By Allah, you will surely be questioned about what you used to invent.

Koran 16:56

Muhammad is complaining that his tribe, the Quraysh, are sacrificing stuff they produced for the female idols, Al Lat, Al Uzza and Manat. In other verses, Muhammad acknowledges that the Quraysh also sacrificed to Allah as well, but fails to acknowledge that here in this repeated complaint. We know this is Muhammad complaining here because Muhammad is swearing by Allah: “By Allah”, and making a false prophecy: “you will surely”. Note that before Muhammad was born, the custom of sacrificing to idols was already established long ago, and as Muhammad repeated with the story of Abraham and the Idols, most of the people of Ur sacrificed stuff to the idols of Ur. So this “invention” was established long ago, even long before Abraham was born, as Abraham’s father was a maker of idols for the households of Ur. So we know Muhammad uttered a false prophecy here, as the Quraysh didn’t invent this custom. The Quraysh inherited the customs of their ancestors and continued the worship of Baal and Sin as Allah, and the other gods, Al Lat, Al Uzza and Manat. This is shown by Muhammad himself in his passage about Abraham and the people of Ur, who are totally not the people of the Quraysh:

26:69 And recite to them the news of Abraham, 70 When he said to his father and his people, “What do you worship?’

71 They said, “We worship idols and remain to them devoted.”

72 He said, “Do they hear you when you supplicate? 73 Or do they benefit you, or do they harm?”

74 They said, “But we found our fathers doing thus.”

Koran 26:69-74

Muhammad’s big mistake was to inherit his nominal father’s tradition, the worship of the IDOL Allah, and thus show that Islam is idol worship.

“…or bury it in the ground?”

Muhammad mentions the female infanticide of the Quraysh in verses 58-59. Note the evil choice Muhammad posits: “Should he keep it in humiliation or bury it in the ground?” this shows that Islamic Fate is false, as there’s a choice. And note, Muhammad doesn’t mention the supposedly straight path of Allah. What’s the reaction of a typical Muslim man, when a girl is born to his wife or wives? What is the straight path of Allah? In the West, women are valued. In fact, it’s the West in which this Muslim woman’s daughter is able to graduate:

Muslim woman with a young daughter and a graduate daughter.

Compare this to Muhammad’s abuse, polygamy, abuse of women, attacking their intelligence, giving women a lesser share than men, special privileges for himself regarding women and so on. Muhammad’s bigotry against women is well described.

The best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
