Koran 10:5-6

10:5 It is He who made the sun a shining light and the moon a derived light and determined for it phases – that you may know the number of years and account [of time].

Allah has not created this except in truth.

He details the signs for a people who know.

6 Indeed, in the alternation of the night and the day and [in] what Allah has created in the heavens and the earth are signs for a people who fear Allah.

Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.

Muhammad lied: “It is He who made the sun a shining light”. No, not so. The Sun formed naturally under the effects of gravity and fuses hydrogen into helium, the reaction spontaneously forms photons of light, which shine in all directions. We KNOW this:

The translators lied: “the moon a derived light”. How do I know? See Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 10:5-6, the verse’s translation:

10:5 It is He Who made the sun a shining thing and the moon as a light…

And then the scholar’s explanation.

He made the rays that come forth from the bright sun as the source of light, and made the beams that come forth from the moon as light. He made them of two different natures so they would not be confused with one another.

The moonlight that shines from the Moon is simply a reflection of the Sun’s sunlight from the lunar surface. The inability of translators and Tafsir scholars to get this right, shows they are defending the nonsense of Muhammad, to pretend they’re correct. Unfortunately, they’re wrong and here they’re exposed.

Muhammad lied: “determined for it phases”. The phases change as the Moon moves around Earth over time. We know this. This isn’t clockwork or an integrated circuit clock.

Muhammad is confused: “that you may know the number of years and account [of time].” Virtually no one uses a lunar calendar, except the Arabs under Islam. Instead, we use solar calendars, as they’re more regular. But we still have to insert leap days into the calendar semi-regularly, as the Earth’s orbit changes over the years.

Muhammad admits: “Allah has not created this”, then lies and makes an exception: “except in truth.” As shown above, Allah didn’t make any of this. A perfect god would make perfect timekeeping mechanisms in nature if this is important for its intelligent creations. The imperfect timekeeping of the Moon and the Sun shows their “creator” is imperfect, which it is, as both formed naturally, like Earth, under the effects of gravity.

Muhammad claims: “He details the signs for a people who know”. When we study reality, we find that these signs show that Allah is imaginary, false and nonsensical.

Muhammad lied: “in the alternation of the night and the day”, caused by the imperfect rotation of the imperfect Earth in the imperfect Sun’s imperfect light.

Muhammad lied: “what Allah has created in the heavens and the earth”. See: Where are we? for more.

Muhammad repeats himself, imperfectly: “He details the signs for a people who know” and “are signs for a people who fear Allah”. Imperfection in Muhammad’s verses reflects imperfection in Allah. Thus showing Allah is imperfect, incoherent, nonsensical and false. This means that Islamic doctrine and Islam are incoherent, nonsensical and false. Thus the best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
