Muhammad or his secretary wrote: “Alif, Lam, Ra.” This is a “Muqatta’at” or Mysterious Letters. As the Koran is supposedly the clear and perfect words of perfect Allah as recorded in perfect Allah’s perfect Qur’an, this sentence should not exist in Muhammad’s Koran, as they are not clear and they are not capable of being translated into English words.

Muhammad’s secretary forgets: “These are the verses of the wise Book”, to add a period at the end. Note that the translator also fails to clear this up and add in a period. So obviously the verse’s bad punctuation shows that this verse is NOT of the “wise Book”, the new name for Allah’s perfect Qur’an, supposedly in Heaven on Allah’s coffee table next to the hookah.

Later the Muslims at Quran.com picked this error and added a period at the end. Compare this with the Sahih International English translation in The Quranic Arabic Corpus, 10:1

Worse, let’s assume that these mistakes are merely translation issues. This verse (minus the “Muqatta’at”), seems to indicate that this is the first verse of the perfect Qur’an, yet this is chapter 10, not chapter 1? Obviously, this incoherence shows the author is not wise, and thus, not Allah. Instead, either Allah is shown to be stupid or the author is most likely to be Muhammad’s secretary. This means that Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical, incoherent and false.

Worse, to hide the punctuation problem, Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 10:1, hides this by adding a period and running straight to the second verse. The difference between verses 1 and 2 is so large, that I had to deal with them separately, not together.

These problems show that the best replacement for this verse is: “”, the empty sentence.
