And when the anger subsided in Moses, he took up the tablets; and in their inscription was guidance and mercy for those who are fearful of their Lord.
Koran 7:154
Note that Muhammad is back to summarising the actions of Moses, and what’s in the 10 commandments. Unfortunately, Muhammad gets it wrong. Let’s check with Torah and Bible in NIV Exodus 32:
15 Moses turned and went down the mountain with the two tablets of the covenant law in his hands. They were inscribed on both sides, front and back. 16 The tablets were the work of God; the writing was the writing of God, engraved on the tablets.
…
19 When Moses approached the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, his anger burned and he threw the tablets out of his hands, breaking them to pieces at the foot of the mountain.
NIV Exodus 32

As you can see, Moses broke the tablets due to his anger. Nothing in them was passed on to the Hebrews, as they didn’t have a chance to read them before they were broken.
In fact, Moses has to return up the mountain to get another set written by God. See chapter 34 of NIV Exodus:
34 The Lord said to Moses, “Chisel out two stone tablets like the first ones, and I will write on them the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke.
4 So Moses chiseled out two stone tablets like the first ones and went up Mount Sinai early in the morning, as the Lord had commanded him; and he carried the two stone tablets in his hands.
13 Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones and cut down their Asherah poles.
27 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Write down these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.”
And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant—the Ten Commandments.
29 When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant law in his hands,…
32 Afterward all the Israelites came near him, and he gave them all the commands the Lord had given him on Mount Sinai.
NIV Exodus 34
Notice that Muhammad summarises badly what’s in the decalogue and can’t be bothered to repeat the Ten Commandments here, let alone the rest of the law from GOD. This shows that Muhammad, and so Koran, is reliant upon Torah and Bible.
Muhammad’s terrible memory and reliance upon Torah and Bible are exposed, showing the best replacement for this verse is: “”, the empty sentence.
