So if they deny you, [O Muhammad],
say, “Your Lord is the possessor of vast mercy; but His punishment cannot be repelled from the people who are criminals.”
Koran 6:147
Muhammad Allah commands Muhammad to: “Say” or “Recite”. This means that this passage is addressed to Muhammad, not to all people. Thus, this passage can’t be in the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. As it is addressed to Muhammad, in his time and place, his context, this also means that this passage is locked to Muhammad’s context and can’t be in the context-free, perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah with all its perfect words. Thus, this passage is part of Muhammad’s recitation, Muhammad’s Koran, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are incoherent and false, meaning Allah is incoherent, imaginary, fictional, and false.
Note the anonymous “they”. If Allah and Muhammad can’t be bothered to name these people, well, who does it apply to? The Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 6:147, suggests that the “they” applies to “idolaters, Jews” and those who oppose Muhammad. Note the superiority of the scholars of the Tafsir above Muhammad and his servant Allah, the dead, broken stone idol.

Also note that Muhammad commands Muhammad to say, “Your Lord”, instead of “Allah”. Could it be that Muhammad is instead talking about YHWH and God/Jesus instead? This would mean that Muhammad is prophesying his eventual punishment and death as a false prophet and criminal. But that seems too reasonable, doesn’t it? Instead realise that this is nonsense from Muhammad which the scholars of the Tafsir have to massage into a reasonable state, devoted to hatred of Jews.
And of course, there’s no punishment for any of the “criminals”. Muhammad and the “criminals” are all dust in their graves, none in Islam Heaven, Paradise or Fire.
This verse is addressed to Muhammad, as such, it’s not for any other human, and so shouldn’t be in the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. The best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
