And do not eat of that upon which the name of Allah has not been mentioned, for indeed, it is grave disobedience.
And indeed do the devils inspire their allies [among men] to dispute with you.
And if you were to obey them, indeed, you would be associators [of others with Him].
Koran 6:121
Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.
There’s something strange about this verse, according to the hadith:
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas explaining the verse “But the evil ones ever inspire their friend to contend with you”, they used to say: “Do not eat which Allah killed, but eat which you slaughtered.”
So Allah revealed the verse: “Eat not of (meats) on which Allah’s name hath not been pronounced”… to the end of the verse.
Sunan Abi Dawud 2818
So this verse comes after “they” used to say: “Do not eat which Allah killed, but eat which you slaughtered.” Then this verse Koran 6:121 is “revealed”. What “they” say is better advice, thus Muhammad reveals that Allah is as ignorant as himself, so Allah is Muhammad, and Islam is false.
Note the contradiction with earlier from Koran 6:118-119. Now Muhammad requires the name of Allah to be “mentioned” over food (in general, not just meat), and there’s no exception from earlier, Koran 6:118-119: “…excepting that to which you are compelled.”
Note especially the contradiction with Koran 5:4 earlier: “Say, ‘Lawful for you are [all] good foods and [game caught by] what you have trained of hunting animals which you train as Allah has taught you. So eat of what they catch for you, and mention the name of Allah upon it, and fear Allah.'” Where? The out-of-order “mention the name of Allah” after eating. Or perhaps it is to satisfy your hunger first, then mention Allah over the remains of your meal? How would I know what Muhammad intended when he got this reversed?
Muhammad lied and threatened: “And indeed do the devils inspire their allies [among men] to dispute with you.” So let’s not mention Koran 6:118-119, then? Or the practice of the Jews and Christians to not say words over their meat or meals as the pagan do. In fact, Muhammad is threatening people who notice the problems with his earlier utterance in Koran 6:118-119, which Muhammad has changed. So don’t obey Muhammad two verses ago, but obey Muhammad now. Obviously, this must have happened before Muhammad invented abrogation, before Muhammad thought of thinking twice and reciting once.
But, Christians thank God for their meals! Which isn’t necessary, but comes from Jesus in NIV Luke 24:30:
30 When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them.
NIV Luke 24:30
Note especially the “bread”, not the meat or the meal. Not all meals have loaves of bread to be broken and divided. And, of course, note that Jesus points out that it’s not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out from the heart, in NIV Matthew 15:10-20:
10 Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen and understand. 11 What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.”
NIV Matthew 15:10-20
12 Then the disciples came to him and asked, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?”
13 He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. 14 Leave them; they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.”
15 Peter said, “Explain the parable to us.”
16 “Are you still so dull?” Jesus asked them. 17 “Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? 18 But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. 20 These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.”
As you can see, it’s not what goes into Muhammad that defiles Muhammad, but what comes out of the mouth of Muhammad that defiles Muhammad: “And indeed do the devils inspire their allies [among men] to dispute with you. And if you were to obey them, indeed, you would be associators [of others with Him].”.
But worse, why isn’t the prayers specified by Muhammad? I found this resource, which has many steps and several prayers for eating meals in private and in the company of others, and is for Ahmadiyya. Yet, there’s nothing here in this passage except a contradiction of an earlier passage, also from Muhammad. Let’s look forward to our journey through Koran, where Muhammad will again contradict himself and order something different for meal times and sacrifice to stone idol Allah times.
Note the picture above, a man returning home after hunting pheasants with his hunting dog. According to tradition, pheasants have to be hung for around a week in a cool area. If this man was Muslim, where does he mention the name of Allah? When he shot at the bird? When his dog fetched the bird back to him? When he wrung the pheasant’s neck, making sure it was dead? After taking it home? After a week of hanging? After the plucking, skinning and beheading? After the cooking? Before the meal of pheasant meat? During the meal? After he’s finished eating and there’s some meat left on the bones? After the bones are nibbled upon and later disposed of? Does the fact that the pheasant’s head is not removed until skinning, a week later, matter? Muhammad’s inability to answer, yet his presumption back in Koran 5:4 that pheasant hunting is taught by Allah with: “which you train as Allah has taught you.” shows Muhammad is not even in touch with a wise god, let alone an omniscient god.

Muhammad being incoherent and contradictory shows that Islam doesn’t come from the perfect god Allah, but it comes from a crazy man who contradicts himself for no reason at all and threatens people with demons if they notice this problem and point it out to him. So the best replacement for this verse is: “”, the empty sentence.
