Koran 5:116-118

5:116 And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, “O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, ‘Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah?'”

He will say, “Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen.

117 I said not to them except what You commanded me – to worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. And I was a witness over them as long as I was among them; but when You took me up, You were the Observer over them, and You are, over all things, Witness.

118 If You should punish them – indeed they are Your servants; but if You forgive them – indeed it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

Koran 5:116-118

Note the missing quotation marks in the middle. Surely Allah will eventually correct this, right?

Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.

Muhammad admits: “O Jesus, Son of Mary”. Who is the father of Jesus? Instead of Joseph, Muhammad admits earlier in the Koran that God is the father of Jesus in Koran 3:45-47:

“[And mention] when the angels said, “O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary – distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah]. He will speak to the people in the cradle and in maturity and will be of the righteous.”

She said, “My Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me?”

[The angel] said, “Such is Allah; He creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, ‘Be,’ and it is.”

Koran 3:45-47

Thus we see from Muhammad’s own words in his Koran that Mary is the mother of Jesus, that Joseph is NOT the father of Jesus and that God is the father of Jesus. In other words, God and Jesus are one, in agreement with the statement of Jesus in the Bible.

Muhammad claims that Mary is a deity akin to Allah. Let’s check with the US Catholic church about Mary:

But all of the titles and all of the miracles are considered to be a result of Mary’s close relationship with her son, Jesus. As mother of the King of Kings, she is the saint of saints. Furthermore, because the church is the body of Christ, and Mary is Christ’s mother, she is also the mother of the church. This means that in addition to having a special relationship with Jesus, Mary also has a special relationship with the church. She belongs to the church and the church belongs to her.
So when we pray the rosary, or bow our heads during the creed, we are honoring our mother, and the mother of our Lord. Although she is not God, she has earned our respect and devotion.

Why do Catholics venerate Mary?

As you can see, the Catholics do not place Mary as a god equal to Allah or even God. Nor do Protestants or other Christians. In fact worship of Mary as God is denounced repeatedly. Also note that Muslims through history and into modern times also venerate Mary, even creating mosques in her name, like the Maryam Umm Eisa (Mary Mother of Jesus) mosque in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Even Muhammad himself in his Koran praised Mary:

And [mention] when the angels said, “O Mary, indeed Allah has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above the women of the worlds.

Koran 3:42-44

Note particularly: “purified you and chosen you ABOVE the women of the worlds.” This shows that Mary is elevated beyond all women on “ALL” the “worlds” – we only live on one world, not “worlds”. Thus Muhammad also venerates Mary, according to his recitation or his Koran.

Now let’s check the words of Jesus in the Bible:

³⁰ I [Jesus] and the Father [God] are one.

NIV John 10:30

Now note that the Jews near Jesus at that time disagreed with his claim:

³³ “We [Jews] are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.”

NIV John 10:33

But, Infidel, the Bible is corrupt! So why are the words of Jesus, claiming to be God, corrupted, yet the words of the Jews aren’t corrupted? If Jesus is the messenger in the Gospel/Bible, why did Allah let these works be corrupted, to show Jesus is God? The accusation of corruption in the Bible merely shows that Allah is impotent, and thus false, imaginary and fictional, so Islamic doctrine and Islam are false.

Also, note that Muhammad confirms Christianity and the Trinity with:

but when You took me up,

Excerpt, Koran 5:117

This shows that Jesus is with “Allah”, two persons of the Trinity, which disagrees with Islamic doctrine. This shows that Islamic doctrine is corrupted compared with the Koran, which is Muhammad’s words, so showing that Koran, Allah, Muhammad, Islam and Islamic doctrine are all false.
