2:183 O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous – 184 [Fasting for] a limited number of days.
So whoever among you is ill or on a journey [during them] – then an equal number of days [are to be made up].
And upon those who are able [to fast, but with hardship] – a ransom [as substitute] of feeding a poor person [each day].
And whoever volunteers excess – it is better for him.
But to fast is best for you, if you only knew.
185 The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion.
So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey – then an equal number of other days.
Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful.
Koran 2:183-185
Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.
Note the multiple mistakes in the first phrase: “O you who have believed”. This is in the past tense, for ex-Muslims who have left Islam and who don’t believe in Allah or Muhammad. Obviously, this is incoherent and irrational. Let’s assume it’s meant for Muslims.
Note that Muhammad is referring to something else here: “it was decreed upon those before you”. Muhammad’s Muslim bandits were ex-polytheists. Did the polytheists fast because of their idolatry? I don’t think so. Or is it that Muhammad is referring to Judaism and Torah instead? As you can see from this Jewish site on Jewish fast days, Muhammad is summarising the fast rules from Judaism, and imposing them on one particular lunar month. Note how the Jewish site explains fasting far better than Muhammad can:
Fasting is pretty simple. If you are a healthy man or woman over the age of bar or bat mitzvah (adults), just abstain from food and drink from dawn until dark…
Jewish Fast Days, Chabad.org
As usual, the hypocrite Muhammad gets it wrong and demands that his ex-polytheist, Muslim bandits behave as religious Jews for the fall of the Jewish Temple, while worshipping at a pagan, stone worshipping, cult centre.
Note that Muslims today only fast during the day, then they FEAST hugely at night, as the hypocrites they are. And note that Muslim children and the ill are forced by peer pressure to fast, which is against medical advice, and dangerous for the ill and children.
But worse, the Ramadan fast during the day and feast at night, is expensive and unhealthy and dangerous for all people not just Muslims. Often Muslims have choked to death, or endangered their health. For more, see Adverse Effects of Islamic Fasting, WikiIslam.
Muhammad changes Islam: “Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship”. Isn’t Islam supposed to be a test? What’s this contradictory nonsense from Muhammad about no hardship and a life of ease? Seems to me, that the best way to obey Muhammad and Allah is to simply abolish the fasting requirement for Ramadan, and perhaps only fast if you’re overweight, or better go on a diet or give up something you indulge in far too much, so showing your rejection of the idolatry of over-indulgence.
Obviously, the best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
